ACADEMIC PROGRAMME
We have high expectations of our pupils and want them to share those same high expectations of themselves and of us and their teachers. At Chudleigh House Secondary School we want to inspire and motivate pupils to aim higher and achieve success through learning. We are confident that all will benefit from a stimulating and challenging learning environment created in partnership with parents.
This environment is founded on integrity, respect, commitment, perseverance and recognizes the need to work closely and effectively with stakeholders. So what differences will you see when you enroll your child at our school.
A FOCUS ON ACADEMIC AND CO-CURRICULUM EXCELLENCE
There will be a renewed emphasis on a holistic and balanced education for every pupil with a broad and inclusive curriculum (Academic, social, cultural and sporting) where pupils can progress in their areas of interest if they have the motivation and ability. We want each pupil to aspire to university-level qualifications and develop their talents and we shall provide every opportunity and encouragement through our personalized learning and broad based co-curriculum programme.
We want all pupils to realize their abilities as active pupils and harness their imagination to aim higher. Whether a pupil has a clear idea of what they want to be when they grow up, or there is a subject they enjoy and excel in, we work with them to develop their potential.
Regular pupils/parents/teachers consultations take place throughout the academic year to discuss progress, identify goals and targets for improvement and map out future needs. This is imperative for pupils to be engaged in their own agenda.
