CHUDLEIGH HOUSE SCHOOL COMMUNITY AWARENESS DAY
Our Community Outreach Program gives pupils the opportunity to get involved in community service and projects all year round.

Teaching a child to share is not an easy task. Teaching them to be charitable might seem next to impossible but fortunately compassion is something with are born with. Helping a child to become aware of others less fortunate than themselves can have enormous benefits for a child’s growth and development.

When a child learns to be unselfish, caring and kind, it will boost their self-esteem. Once a child realizes that they can make a difference in another person’s life, they soon understand that they are important in this world. Chudleigh House School holds its annual Community Awareness Day in term 1 each year. On this day children donate various items; food, clothing, shoes, stationery to children less privileged.
