EARLY LEARNING CENTRE (ELC)
Our Early Learning Centre (Pre-School) provides children (2-5 years) with 5 days of classroom and outdoor activities per week. We are proud to say that we have teachers who will improve your child's abilities not only do they change your child's performance; they change even their perceptive learning, a lasting impression on their lives. We believe that every child is special and unique in some way.
For Chudleigh House School to be successful, administration, teachers, parents, pupils and support staff work together as a team to achieve our goal which is "Excellence through teamwork".Our hours of operation are Monday to Thursdays from 07:30 hours to 16:00 hours and Fridays 12:30 hours.
Education
Chudleigh House School pupils participate in challenging preparatory curriculum from Pre-school to Grade One with ample opportunities for individual attention and personal growth. The use of advance technology tools like ZEDUPADS, and smart boards has made our Early Learning lessons modern and effective.
We encourage critical thinking, practical and appreciation for the arts through:
- Mental maths
- Science projects
- Weekly assembly performances
- Phonics and blends
- Music and physical Education classes
This well balance in depth approach to education ensures every child gains the concepts necessary to be a success "towards a brighter future" as our motto.
Discipline
The principles of respect, responsibility persistence and farness are instilled in our pupils as part of their education. This creates a structured nurturing environment in which they can learn.
Celebrating our differences
We believe that every child has the right to achieve his or her full potential, regardless of their gender, race, language, physical abilities or socio-economic background.
We ensure that every child has equal access to all areas of school life and full entitlement to the curriculum.

Information and Communication Technology
A unique feature of the School is the introduction of Information Technology to the child at Grade One. After Grade seven the child is introduced to the concept of communication thus learning information and communications technology in full.
This has helped the children to not only pass the subject with flying colours but also to learn to see the computer as a useful tool in their daily lives. The School has invested heavily into a state of the art computer lab.
