Chudleigh House School Girl Guides Club
The Girl Guides Club at Chudleigh House School is a vibrant and nurturing space designed to empower girls from the Petronella Chisanga Early Learning Centre (PCELC) through to the Primary school level. As an affiliate of the Girl Guide Association of Zambia, the club connects our learners to a respected national movement that promotes leadership, life skills and community values among young girls.
At its core, the Girl Guides Club is about skills building, teamwork and personal growth.
Members take part in fun, interactive activities that encourage them to be a “sister’s keeper” showing care, empathy and support for one another. Leadership is fostered through opportunities for girls to guide activities, make decisions, and take responsibility for their groups, giving them practical experience in collaboration and problem solving.
Participation in the club helps girls develop confidence, cooperation, respect and responsibility. Activities are intentionally engaging, ensuring that learning happens naturally through play and shared experiences. Though still growing, the club already provides a strong platform for girls to discover their strengths, explore their interests and build social skills that will serve them well both in school and beyond.
The Girl Guides Club also emphasizes core values of integrity, kindness, and resilience. By fostering community spirit and encouraging positive interactions, it helps members form lasting friendships and supportive peer networks.By welcoming members from the PCELC through Primary school. The Girl Guides Club offers a continuous journey of growth, ensuring that girls develop the confidence, skills and character needed to thrive academically, socially and personally. Its affiliation with the Girl Guide Association of Zambia further ensures that our learners are part of a wider movement dedicated to shaping responsible, empowered young women.
